Happy Anniversary to ME!

It's my 7 year anniversary today! They haven't been the easiest 7 years of my life, but they've definitely been the best! I've learned that I can get through anything as long as I have my adorable hubby by my side. I love you, baby! This is one of my favorite pictures from my wedding. Everyone looks hilarious! Some of my favorites are Jay, flying baby Katelynn, Randall's Grandma that can barely stand but still feels the need to raise her hand in excitement, Jana looking like she'd rather be anywhere but there, and cute little Conner and Adria in the front. (They're both taller than I am now, BTW) Go ahead and find yourself in there. See how funny you look. Ü It's also great to see a few people that have passed away since this was taken. I miss them all, but I know that they are still behind us, cheering us on through tough times.

Carter's new smile!

Carter's had a loose tooth since before his Birthday, but since he's always been somewhat wimpy intolerant of pain I wasn't surprised that it was taking him forever to get the thing out. I wasn't really worried about it until I noticed that both of his bottom teeth were growing in behind his baby teeth. In hopes of avoiding the orthodontist, I took him to the dentist asap. Two tooth extractions later, I now present you with his new smile. Adorably awkward gap-tooth phase...here we come!

Cabin Trip!

Last weekend we went with Lincoln and BreAna to a "cabin" up in Duchesne. The only claim it has to being a cabin is the fact that it's in the mountains. because the place is 100 times nicer than my house! We had tons of fun! Thanks for having us Linc and Bre!

I also highly recomment this game. It was so fun! Bre and I totally killed Randall and Lincoln!

Happy Birthday Lyddies!

My sweet princess turned 4 on March 23rd. Lydia has been asking every day this month if it's her Birthday yet, and was super excited when it finally was. Carter had an opposite reaction saying, "that's bad news to me." Apparently he didn't like the idea of Lydia being boss for the day. I think she made it pretty easy on him, though. Ü We had Strawberry yogurt cake with Randall's family on Sunday, and a cupcake decorating party with my family on Monday. (Yes, it was a cop-out so I wouldn't have to decorate a cake, but the kids LOVED it okay!) Lydia received a princess Belle tea party doll, a Tinkerbell doll, 2 adorable dresses, a boy Barbie she quickly named "Daddy," a cell phone and purse combo, some cute sets for her kitchen, a coloring book, and a Hannah Montana Barbie. She absolutely loved all of her gifts and had tons of fun playing with her cousins. Two Birthday's down, one more to go...if you don't count me and Randall's, which apparently I don't anymore. Ü

Smartie Pants

Lately, it has come to my attention that my children are amazingly intelligent.

Carter informed me just last week that he no longer needs to attend school because he's "smart enough already." He's also very concerned about who he's going to marry and is very disappointed that he can't marry Meghan or Macie (they're his cousins). What a responsible young man!


Then there's Lydia who is always full of information such as: "We don't eat knives. They might cut our mouths." Unfortunately, she also asks me daily: "Is the baby not in your tummy anymore?" Guess I need to lose a few more LB's! (This is her fishy face BTW)


Meleah has also contributed a lot to society at the meager age of 22 months. She's decided that there are too many words in the English language, and has combined them or at least shortened them to make life a little easier. It's especially helpful to her, because she likes to repeat her commands 400 times in a 30-second time period.

And of course my sweet Cameron who's the smartest of them all. He's discovered that if he flashes those adorable dimples of his, he can get pretty much anything he wants. Either that or scream REALLY loud.
