We used some lucky charms, "gold" (clean pennies), chocolate, and a baby shoe (they are cobblers after all), along with a sign that says "Gold in here" to entice him.
Added a couple of strings that Carter can pull to activate the trap door and
Voila!
An awesome device to trap even the sneakiest leprechaun.

We set up a trap tonight and Noah is just scared to death now. He had to sleep in Avrie's bed. Good luck catching that Leprechaun.
